What Intuitive Voice actually is
Van teaches Intuitive Voice layer by layer. We’ll understand the science of sound, work with energy channeling and deep listening – sensing what a body or a room is asking for before a single note is sung.
You’ll learn to live loop your vocals, building layered soundscapes in real time, and how to weave voice with instrument: drum, fork, and bowl, in conversation rather than competition.
This is for you if:
- You’re a sound healing practitioner wanting to add voice as a tool, not a performance.
- You love sound healing and want your voice to be your entry point into practice.
- You sense energy and read a room, but want a more precise way to translate that into sound.
- You’re curious about live looping and want to build layered vocal soundscapes on the spot.

How the workshops run
Every workshop with Van moves through the same arc. We start with the basics – the science of sound, so you understand what’s actually happening in the body before you make a single noise.
From there, we move into deep sensing: learning to read a body or a room before you respond to it. Then we bring in voice alongside instrument – drum, fork, bowl – so you can sing with what you already play, not over it.
And finally, live looping: building layered vocal soundscapes in real time.
The online masterclass, when it launches, will follow the same arc at your own pace, without the live feedback. It will suit people happy to self-direct, or who want to do the inner work first and bring their questions to a workshop later.

Do I need to be able to sing?
No. If you can make a sound, you can do this work. You’ll learn to use your voice the way you’d use a tuning fork or a bowl.
Do I need sound healing experience already?
No. This works whether you’re an established practitioner adding voice to your kit, or you’re completely new and want to start with your voice as the entry point.
What instruments do I need to bring?
None are required. If you already work with tuning forks, crystal bowls, or drums, bring them – we’ll work with what you have. If you don’t have any yet, we’ll focus on voice and live looping on its own.
What’s the difference between the workshop and the masterclass?
Same core structure – sound science, deep sensing, voice with instrument, live looping. The in-person workshop adds live feedback: I’m in the room to hear what your voice is doing and adjust with you in real time. The online masterclass, when it launches, will be self-paced without that feedback loop, so it will suit people comfortable self-directing.
Can I do the masterclass first, then come to a workshop?
Yes, once it launches. You can build the foundation online, then bring your questions to a workshop for feedback.
How much does the workshop cost?
Intuitive Voice workshops are priced from $400 per person for a single day. Bookings are handled through Humanitix for public workshops. Bespoke workshops for teams or organisations are quoted separately – see Voice in the Company on the for organisations page.
