Stellar Sound is a Sydney-based practice offering group sound journeys, coaching, retreats, intuitive voice work, and 1:1 sessions. We are Vanessa Fernandez and Nic Robertson. We work on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and online, and we operate under Australian law.

Our services are designed for adults (18 years and over). If a younger participant is joining a session, retreat or workshop, please contact us beforehand so we can confirm arrangements with a parent or guardian.

Most bookings happen through third-party platforms (Cal.com for 1:1 sessions, Humanitix for ticketed events). Their terms apply alongside these, particularly around payment processing and refunds.

Sound journeys and 1:1 sessions

Payment is taken at the time of booking. You can reschedule with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations within 48 hours aren’t refundable, but we’ll always try to find a different time that works.

Retreats

A non-refundable deposit secures your place. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start date. Cancellations more than 30 days before the start are refunded minus the deposit. Within 30 days, the booking can transfer to a future retreat by mutual agreement; refunds at that point are at our discretion.

Coaching engagements

Terms are agreed in writing at the start of each engagement and supersede the booking and cancellation terms above for that engagement.

The work we offer – sound journeys, breathwork, somatic practice, coaching, ceremony – is contemplative, educational and supportive. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric treatment.

If you are managing a physical, mental health or neurological condition, please consult a qualified medical or mental health professional before participating, and let us know anything we need to be aware of when you book.

Specifically: if you have a history of seizures, serious psychiatric conditions, pregnancy complications, recent surgery, or any acute medical condition, check with your doctor before booking sound work, breathwork or ceremony. Sound at volume, breath at depth, and a held container can be both physically and emotionally activating.

By attending a session, journey or retreat, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to take part, that you have considered any relevant medical advice, and that you accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after the experience.

We hold the room with care. You remain the steward of your body and your decisions.

Coaching is a series of one-to-one sessions, usually run over several weeks or months. Each engagement begins with a written agreement covering session cadence, payment schedule, communication norms, and what you can expect.

Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. It is reflective, strategic and embodied work – and like any reflective work, it asks something of you. If at any point coaching isn’t the right container for what you’re navigating, we’ll have an honest conversation about redirecting you to the right form of support.

When you join our list, you receive an email roughly once a month with upcoming journey dates, occasional reflections, and notes from the practice. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

If you contact us through a form or by email, expect a response within a few business days. We don’t share your details, sell your data, or add you to lists you didn’t choose to join. Our Privacy Policy covers the full picture.

The writing, images, layout, journal essays and design on this website are the work of Stellar Sound. You’re welcome to read, share links to pages, and reference short excerpts with attribution. Reproducing whole pieces, using our content commercially, or training AI models on it without permission isn’t okay.

This doesn’t limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded – including under the Australian Consumer Law.

We may update these terms occasionally. The “last updated” date below shows when the current version was published. Significant changes will be flagged in the newsletter.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be heard in NSW courts unless we agree otherwise.
